Swot Analysis


Strength: 1. Not a lot of competitors - which from the research I found out that there's not many magazines which only based on senior fashion.

2. Easy to understand - the layout is clean and tidy which allows people to read and use easily + content are quite straight forward.

Weakness: 1. Old aged customer are generally not too keen on exploring and use their money for materialistic items - which there are many of the old people wouldn't spend money on fashion pieces or they don't want to change(be fashionable) because they have stuck to the culture background or personal habits.Which means they wouldn't even spend time on reading the magazine.

2.I would also say it's the simple layout and the navigation. Maybe to be more visual might interests people more.

Opportunities: 1. Expand further and develop the blog into a brand company dedicated just to the elderly - develop into another brand company just for elderly might interests them more.

2. Include social medias - such as Instagram which can attract more younger generation cause nowadays who doesn't use Instagram. A actually magazine will help with the older generation because many of them don't know how to use internet or these technology gadgets. (for example, my grandparents don't know how to use smart phones).

3. More visual layout - maybe experiment more

Threats: The biggest threats would be the technology issues to certain ages like what I mentioned above.
